Hello and welcome to the official Mad 4 Flash Blog. The domain Mad4Flash was registered in May of 2010. At the time my friends and I were debating on what domain to go with, we had a few others in mind but Mad4Flash seemed like the most suitable. When the site first launched I was absolutely clueless when it game to games- especially flash games, I had no idea of the types of games people enjoyed.
The first thing I decided to research is the top rated games, I came across a couple of sites that had a really great list of games, I tried a few of the games myself and I was literally in love. I decided to add a few of the games to my site, at the time the only people that knew anything about mad for flash were just a few people at school who got the word around, I was only receiving around 15 or so unique views a day (which isn’t very good).
I was still pretty busy with school to do to much of an upkeep on adding games, the website mostly sat for a good few months. Then just a couple months ago I removed the arcade and left the site blank for a couple weeks debating what to do with the domain and hosting space: Should I cancel? Should I blog?
Exactly one week later I got really interested into web design and Search Engine Optimization. I knew what I wanted to do. I reinstalled the arcade script and started adding games, I searched all over the internet crossing multiple sites to find really good games that people would want to come back and play. In just one week I added over 100 flash games, I was pretty excited!
I continued working hard trying to get the word out about Mad 4 Flash. Finally some luck.. People were actually coming to the site with more than a few hundred plus unique hits being received daily.. I knew I had to keep going.
On October 5, 2010 I decided to setup a subdomain: blog.mad4flash.com. This would be entirely dedicated to game walkthroughs and downloads. Eventually I plan on launching a forum as well which will be available for more discussions, for now my foucus is on the blog and providing quality walkthroughs and reviews for flash games.
