Dead Money DLC

Dead Money DLC (or at least what we will call it for short) is a new game that has been released for the Xbox 360. The story starts off with you getting a mysterious radio signal that brings you to the Sierra Madre casino as well as raising your level cap by 5. The casino is covered in a red toxic fog that is dangerous and speaking with locals make it out to be some sort of mysterious place that has treasures hidden in it. Once you make your way into the casino your are greeted by Father Elijah, who graciously takes away all your weapons and armor while fitting you with an explosive collar. Don’t do what you are supposed to and you lose your head. There are new enemies one being the Ghost People, driven mad by the red fog and I mean mad.. they are insane. Oh yeah and they are not easy enemies to defeat either with them attacking you with new melee weapons. Later on in the game you will encounter nearly impossible to defeat drone like enemies that glow and are armed with lasers that are no joke. Here are some walkthroughs for now, use the left and right sliders in video to move between each video, or if you need help please leave a comment.

Episode 1: Intro

Let’s take a trip back to Vegas. In this first section of gameplay Camp Forlorn Hope is discovered.

Episode 2: Dog

Find Dog at the Police Station in the Villa.

Protip: Did you know you can get a few police pistols and more in the? building where you get Dog? Buy ammo for them from the vending machines. Alternatively you can use the beartrap fist most of the time. Dead Money will play much easier if you spend time looking for weapons and stimpacks, instead of running through which makes it harder.

Episode 3: Search Party for Christine

Let’s head out to find her.

Episode 4: Silenced

“Your collar is beeping faster.”

Episode 5: Chair Bomb

Demotivational Poster: “Chair Bomb – Cleverly designed until you realize the life force of the guy you’re going to kill is connected to your own.”

Episode 6: Round 2

Looks like we’re quickly starting over once again in the Fallout: New Vegas series due to some random glitch.

Episode 7: Crew Assembled

We can move on for now.

Episode 8: Gassy Stairs

Thwarted once more.

Episode 9: Players Curve

Episode 10: Feeding Dog

After we get Dog to wait in the Switching Substation, he must now be fed. Find two slabs of Ghost Harvester remains to convince Dog to stay in the Switching Substation.

Episode 11: Down Not Up

Episode 12: Rooftop Run

Dean is late to his own party.

Episode 13: Post

Welcome to the curse of the FNV DLC, KH Round II – KH Harder.

Episode 14: Stairs of Wonder

Next time we’ll get past them.

Episode 15: The Event

With it triggered it’s time to hoof it back.

Tip 1: To beat Dead Money with the good ending, get back to? the Wasteland. When you enter the vault at the Sierra Madre, click on the terminal inside, click on Vera, read that note. After you read the note back out of the computer and Elijah will talk to you. Warning: You get the bad ending if you click on the personel notes.

Tip 2: Do companions annoy you by constantly running into your bullets and missiles? Take the Spray and Spray perk to drastically reduce the amount of damage your attacks inflict on all currently hired companions.

Tip 3: View your companions location on your map.

Tip 4: It is possible to craft a better spear using a clean knife.

Tip 5: Use your local map!!!

Tip 6: Collect chips! There are two attachments to buy with them.

Tip 7: The Sierra Madre’s concentrated toxic clouds erode health more quickly.

Tip 8: The number 1 tip would be to get the Lightstep Perk… it makes this DLC playable. — Thanks for the hint Daad.

i am inside the madre trying to get into the vault and am having a terrible time trying to get past all the gaurds and radios. i have no clue what i am supposed to be doing or where to go. please help?

  You have to reprogram the hologuards’ patterns using the CPUs and try to shoot as many BLUE speakers high on the walls and destroy the little radios the are giving out the signals to the collars. As you get closer to the vault you’ll have to run fast and use the CPUs to disable the alarm systems.

I am towards the end. I entered the elvator through Vera’s room and am stuck getting to the vault..There is one radio/speaker that I cannot see that gets me everytime!! Ugggghhh!!

  You have to unlock it by going to a room that is all the way on the right wall when you first enter the room with all the gaurds and have to use the computer in there to de activate the alarm then the force fields

Same here, got past the walkways with the 3 holograms and have gone through the corridor where the door with the shield leading into the vault blocks my path!! have looked for buttons or switches, cannot find any, and have also looked for the radio that is knocking about, with no success, (the room im stuck in has a projector on the left hand side, and where the projector is, is the only place you can stand, so the collar doesnt beep!

  Howdy…the snowglobe isn’t in the Vault. It’s in an upper room in one of the Villas, on a dresser. You have to walk on the roofs to get to the room. Since I picked it up early in the game and I’m in the Vault now I can’t remember exactly where it is. But just make sure you explore ALL the rooms in the Villas (including the upper ones) and you’ll find it. It’s sitting on a dresser right by the wall to your left as you go in from the roof. (It also gives you 2,000 chips when you find it.)

  an easy way to have all the gold bars is to go to the terminal that unlocks the maintenece door. wen u get the gold bars there should be a force field next to the maintenience door. if you have enough stims, walk slowly to the force field and drop the gold bars. the gold bars will go thru the force field. as you make your escape (quickly) + (need high agility ) and on your way out grab them and walk to the elavator. This is for Old World Blues people. Then, go to the Big empty to your house and put them in your safe then go to muggy with your mugs you found in villa!

I am in the room with the catwalks and the terminal with 2 red speakers. I make it to the terminal, but shutting the alarms off doesn’t shut off the speakers! It’s very frustrating to keep dying.

Started this at level nine, leveled to 14 and the glitch where you let dog out, i couldnt get him to come out as god so once he was out i played the tape and switched him to god… Btw the guy in these vids is hilarious xD

Ok so I don’t have the long haul perk, I have like 1350lbs of gold and can only carry like 300 after a buffout. I was thinking of turning the turrets against him right when he gets close to the vault then make a run for it while he’s occupied. U think I can gat a good head start? Or is there like a key that I need to grab from him befor I can escape? I made it kinda far my first time not really knowing what I’m doing and I died like half way to the highlighted door.

  i Find the best way to deal with them is to once you open the vault door shoot all 4 of the turrets so u dont have to deal with them later Save the game enter the vault do what u have to do after u take all the gold bars of course. then once ej is on his way down get to the force feald on the left as fast as u can drop the gold right in front of the feald it should go throught it and land on the other side then run to the other side of the room next to the door were u came in witch is now blocked by a force feald Save the game!!!!!! before u kill Ej after u kill him run back the way u came past the gards up the cat walk est est untill u get to were u droped the gold get it and walk to the elavator and your good….. u have about 1 min to get out after u kill Ej before your head pops it will take many times to get it right took me about 15 its just the last 10 feet that get u killed.. good luck people i did all 37 bar….good luck

I saved aftet i killed father E and ran out with only six bars…i went back the elevator door and it says key required…my question is,where can i find the elevator key to go bavk down to the vault for the remaining gold bars??,or do i have to do it all over again since i only used one save file and copied over ot numerous times…
